A longtime advocate for a wellness-first lifestyle, Founder / CEO JeanAne Hecht had never anticipated being immersed in the world of lymphatic health until she faced Breast Cancer-Related Lymphedema, as a side effect of breast cancer treatment.

At her first surgical follow-up two weeks after undergoing a lumpectomy in her left breast, her surgeon observed signs of Axillary Web Syndrome (AWS) and referred her to an Oncology PT/CLT Specialist. During her initial consult, it was suggested that she was suffering from lymphedema in her arm, which thankfully responded well to manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) treatment.

But one month after completing radiation, JeanAne’s lymphedema returned, this time in her left breast. It brought with it a new set of challenges and discomfort that no longer responded to MLD the same way. Her symptoms became unpredictable and progressive; swelling would subside during treatment with her PT, only to inexplicably return within hours of being home. Having already battled cancer, JeanAne was determined to find a solution that could offer relief in the privacy of her own home.
